Weekend

Just so everyone knows... I am making an announcement....... I HAVE THE BEST DAD AND HUBAND IN THE WORLD!!! (I bet you were waiting for me to say 'I'm Pregnant'... but we aren't!) Back to my statement though, Aaron and Dad are the best men in the whole world... yep I said it, My husband is better than yours! This is the second time they spent all day working on my car. Aaron and I found out our car was not going to pass inspection until we got rear breaks and front tires. The front tires were taken care of last week but this weekend the rear breaks needed to be done. Aaron and Dad started working at 2:30 and ended at 9 give or take 30 minutes, I would say give! So, almost 8 hours of work laters they are done and working PERFECTLY! We are indeed thankful for Dad who was still willing to help us even though he had been up at 4:30 that morning to go to work! I must say he is one amazing Dad. Aaron and I joke that our car would never be fixed if it wasn't for dad. Aaron says he could never work on the car like dad does, he just doesn't have the brute strength that Dad does. So... basically I spent 8 hours reading, doing laundry, and holding a light for the men to see. Which means I am eternally grateful that I have men to do the dirty work for me!

On a lighter note however, Aaron and I spent Saturday morning playing softball with the University Ward! It was GREAT! I must say Aaron and I are pretty athletic compared to the rest of the U Ward. I got to show of my hitting skills, we all know that's the only thing I am good at in softball. I can't field very well but I can hit good! Aaron was great he had some good shots but for some reason his ball gravitated to Joey O and he kept getting out! We really enjoyed our self! We wish we had the opportunity to play more sports or get out and enjoy fall in general! Needless to say however, after a morning of playing ball and an afternoon/evening of squatting working on the car Aaron is pretty sore. I am too but just because I am WAY out of shape!

Anywho, this weekend was good. We are doing good and enjoying life! :D:D

I am sooo happy Aaron has found someone as fabulous as you, Margie!! Glad to hear the car is working...and Aaron too! Amazing what marriage does to a person! :)I am also sore, due to riding my bike to school to get Kallie. Good thing the way back is down hill... that girl adds at least 40 pounds!
