Virginia Drive/ Washington

So.. most of you already now but for those of you who don't, Aaron and I are in Virginia and LOVING IT! We started our trek Tuesday afternoon and made it to Indiana, about a 5 hour trip. That evening we stayed with Aaron's Aunt and Uncle Sam and Cathy. It was WONDERFUL! Their house was gorgeous and we totally had a suite with a view overlooking the lake. The next morning we got up and started our 11ish hour trip to Mike and Shannon's. Although it was a LONG drive it was beautiful! The trees covering the mountains were stunning! I am soo happy we made the long trip out.

The first day out we just rested and played with Maddie and Patrick, what fun cute little kids. It was such a blast. However, yesterday we went to Washington. It was AMAZING!! We stoped at the temple just for a short walk around to let Maddie get out and eat some lunch. Poor girl, she's not much of a traveler and ended up throwing up probably 5 or 6 times on the car ride up. Aaron and I sat in the back so we were on puke patrol. We caught most of it but she still required a change of clothes. Poor girl!

After the temple we went downtown to do some sightseeing! GORGEOUS! I loved it, it was soo much fun! There are LOTS of pictures that we took but here are just a few, more will be added when we get back to Missouri!

Also, since we arrived, Shannon has been tearing the house apart looking for the blue elephant that Patrick sleeps with. Right before I blogged, Aaron had to get behind the computer to plug something in and he found it!!! Shannon had looked behind the computer desk, but somehow the elephant was scrunched between the computer tower and part of the desk, so you couldn't see it.
