Thanksgiving, end of semester and others

Sorry I am soo late on our Thanksgiving post, we were in Virginia visiting Aaron's brother Mikey, his wife Shannon and their two kiddos. We had so much fun! It was great to visit them again, we really miss their kids since they are the only one's we don't see on a regular basis. They are soo fun and it was hard to believe how big they got in just 6 months since we had last seen them. It was very relaxing, we didn't really do anything but it was soo nice. We did make it to the temple again, Aaron and I have both decided the Washington Temple is one of our favorites. After doing a session Aaron took me to one of my favorite restaurants that I don't get to go to very often... The Cheesecake Factory. After that we went to the Smithsonian! It was amazing. I really wanted to go to the art section and Aaron wanted to go to the space section so we compromised and went to the American History Section. It was really cool, they had Abe Lincoln's top hat and the ruby slippers from Wizard of Oz. It was really cool! I am glad I had the opportunity to go. Later in the week Shannon and I cooked the whole Thanksgiving meal for the family! We were so proud of ourselves!! It was really good and although it was a lot of work it was totally worth it!! Black Friday shopping was interesting too. Aaron and I went to Toys R Us at midnight... it was NUTS! We stood in line for 2 1/2 hours waiting to check out!! By the time we got back to Mikey's we would have to get up in 30 minutes to head to Kohl's. We made Shannon go out with us after that... I think it was a bit of a shock for Shannon but it was soo much fun!!
On the way home Aaron and I also stopped in West Virginia at a little cafe that was featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. It was soo good... we had burgers and they were delicious!!!

Now, that we are back home Aaron and I are trying frantically to finish up the semester. We both are working our butts off trying to finish up with papers and projects and study for tests and finals!! Its a bit bitter sweet though. I will graduate in May and cannot believe I only have to go through this one more time! Aaron has two more rounds of this but he is still in the home stretch! It has been a really good semester, we have dealt with our difficulties but we are almost done and we see the light at the end of the tunnel. Well, I better get going with some of that homework!

I will post trip pictures sometime... when life slows down a bit!
