Aaron's mission companion from Enterprise and his wife came up Friday night for the weekend. We all stayed at at hotel in downtown Salt Lake. Okay, I really didn't know Lance's wife Emilee very well... we had met once and we got along but that was about it.
However, Emilee and I are seriously LONG LOST BEST FRIENDS! It was nuts! We are basically the same! It was sooooo much fun getting to spend time with them. We all went to Saturday morning session of General Conference! How awesome!! It was such an amazing experience! I loved it! After, that we went to lunch with a friend that served his mission in Missouri and his girlfriend. It was fun.... minus the whole water spilling incident.. but that is a story for another time.
After lunch we just played with Lance and Emilee. The boys went to priesthood session that night and Emilee, Kristi and I went to desseret Woman's night. I got some really great stuff and Emilee even experienced one of my hot flashes... that was great! We went to dinner and then met back up with the boys.
That night after priesthood, the boys had a mission reunion. Emilee and I decided we needed to go get cokes so we dropped the boys off and headed for cokes. I guess while we were gone the boys were questioned on where their wives were... everyone was shocked we were best friends and were together. Emilee and I walked in while the mission president was speaking to the whole group, in Portuguese... how embarrassing! We did have lots of fun. We then took some pictures of Salt Lake, after the reunion. It was really neat!
We had so much fun with Emilee and Lance. We wished they lived closer... but they are suppose to be visiting in May. YOU BETTER COME EMILEE OR I WILL BE ANGRY!!!
Needless to say, we had a great trip and did not want to come back to reality! A quick run down of the food we ate (we were there for 8 days) Aaron ate Cafe Rio 4 times and we also had Jamba Juice twice!
Since, we have been back we have been swamped with school. I had a rough draft capstone paper due and a proposal for my final project in another class. But hey... I graduate in 27 days!!! We are stoked!!
