Life as We know it...

So, life has been pretty crazy for us lately and I know I have really sucked at blogging. Therefore I am not going to catch you up on everything we have been up to. I will however, tell you a few interesting things that have been going on and post more interesting pictures to entertain you.

1. Shortly after graduation we had some friends visit from Utah. Lance served with Aaron on his mission. We went out for their wedding and then when we were out in Utah for conference they came up to Salt Lake to play with us. Needless to say, Emilee and I are long lost best friends. We did a lot while they were here but didn't end up ta
king many pictures. I ended up getting sick. :( We hit a Royals game, went to the Ozarks for some shopping and made it to Nauvoo. I keep telling Aaron we need to go out again to go play with them.

2. I got a job at Faber and Brand, LLC. However, after working their a month I realized this job wasn't for me and got a new job. I start State Farm Insurance on the 26th. I am soo excited. State Farm has FABULOUS bennies and the room for advancement it really promising. I really wanted a job here and I am soo grateful I got it. Faber wasn't too happy though because when I put in my two weeks they told me not to come back after lunch. Needless to say, I took lunch right then.

3. Jocie got baptized on the 4th. We were so happy and proud of her and grateful to share in her special moment. Aaron confirmed her and he did a great job! It was awesome and he never ceases to amaze me in how spiritual he is. Also we went to a family in Buff's ward for fireworks. Aaron reverted to his pyro days and blew up a watermelon, a cake, a pillow and a motorcycle helmet that easily cleared his two story house and ended up breaking one of their benches out back. OOOOPS! Sorry!

4. We got a new bishop. He is young and we really like him. Aaron is still working as the clerk and seems to enjoy it. I am the institute married rep. We like our callings and everything seems to be working out there.

5. I had the worst Amish experience of my life! I went with mom on Friday to buy some veggies and fried pies. One place we went was butchering chickens. I like to think of myself as a bit Tom-boy and pretty country. However, I am NOT that country and definitely NOT that Tom-boy to literally step on the chickens head.. barefoot mind you, and pull on their legs until their head POPS off. They really do flop around after their head is pulled off. IT WAS GROSS!

Other than that nothing else is really going on. Life is good and we keep truckin' on!!
