Vacation

So, since Aaron and I can't have kids we try to find other blessings in our lives. One of the things that we are blessed to do is pick up WHENEVER we want and go on vacation. So, we travel about every 6 months, its a nice escape from reality. Since we have been married we have been to New Mexico, Utah/Vegas three times, Virginia twice, Omaha, weekend trips to St Louis and Nauvoo and a Branson trip, mind you we have only been married for almost 3 years.

Our latest trip was to Utah/Vegas. It was soo much fun. We got to see three couples that we don't get to see very often. I love visiting friends while we are gone.

The first couple was total random that we even met up with them. Ryan and Melissa Roundy were good friends of ours the summer after we got married.

Ryan went to vet school out here and we really enjoyed hanging out with them. It just so happened they were in Vegas on Wednesday night the same day we got into town. We ended up going to dinner with them on Wednesday night on Freemont street. Freemont experience was EPIC! First, Aaron made me ride in a city bus with a STINKY local who was a liar. The girl behind him on the bus was covering her nose with her hair because he smelled THAT terribly. After that dinner was uneventful but the after math was HILARIOUS! First, there was a bunch of homeless people all dancing to a band that was playing with

one normal person out there rocking out with them all. Ryan nicknamed them Team Homeless. Then an old lady in a walker ended up tripping and fell, hit her head. Her wig went FLYING off and landed 5 feet away her legs FLEW up in the air, we were all concerned until Ryan turned to us and said, "Just in case you are wondering She is NOT wearing underwear!" OMG, M

elissa and I lost it! Then a cowboy almost knocked her over again trying to grind on her while he was helping her up! (NOTE: this is much funnier with me telling the story or Aaron, writing it does not do it Justice!)

Emily and Lance came down the next day to play. But before they came we went to Circus Circus and watched some really cool acrobats. That night we went to dinner with Mary and Tyson. Tyson being one of my best friends when we were b

oth single and in school in CoMO and also being my wedding photographer. It was great to see them. The next day we went to the temple... AMAZING! Prettiest Celestial room I have ever seen! I also, ran into a family from my homeward, their granddaughter got her endo

wments the same session as us... very strange. Aaron thought it was weird that I ran into someone I knew in Vegas. We also went to Hover Dam... WOW that new bridge is amazing and very TALL!
We left the next day for Enterprise, and I also got to go Desseret and Down East... Em and Lance thought it was pretty dang funny that I got soo excited about going there. Enterprise was soo much fun! I wish we had more time to spend there. Next time we will! We also got to see the Holt's my second family. It was great to see them! and the new little ones!

Basically that is a short recap of our trip!

Also, in other news I have an interview for a promotion tomorrow.... I hope it goes well!! If it does then that will be a pretty good pay increase and we will be in CoMO for a few more years! Thats all that is new here! I also got a CUTE new hair cut... THANKS EM! I Love it!
